I’m a passionate and curious creative type who focuses on inciting emotional responses through design.

I am a York/Sheridan Design alumna currently working @ Info-Tech Research Group as a Product designer. Additionally, I’ve been freelancing for a handful of Canadian agencies, and moonlighting as a Creative Lead and Managing Partner @ Exomis Design + Development.

I spent the final year of my undergraduate degree researching two areas of interest: accessibility best practices within the built environment, and a 365-day look at human emotion and its relationship to productivity and wealth.

Although I get hired to create some oddly specific pieces (bandanas for pups?), my ultimate goal is to tell stories and create experiences that people can relate to, not just using design but also through several other creative processes. I value research as a crucial phase in the design process; it’s what informs the storytelling approach, creative development, user experience and final outputs that a project requires to be successful.

In 2021, I stumbled upon an open call for entries to submit artwork for Blundstone Canada’s Playlist V campaign. Being between projects, I found some time to experiment with a new illustrative style I had been wanting to try, and crafted up a submission for the contest. I hold this win close to my heart especially because I was able to create something bold (quite literally; the main stroke weight was 30pt) using illustration and design rather than traditional art.
